Peaceful, Private Cabin on 5 Acres ...

If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in the Montana wilderness where you can relax and spend quality time with your loved ones and pets, this lovely two-bedroom cabin is just what you need. With a private washer/dryer, high-end fixtures, gorgeous mountain views, and unparalleled access to the great outdoors, this vacation rental is perfect for a small, nature-loving group.

Nestled on five acres in the midst of a quiet forest where huckleberries abound, this spacious home is five miles north of Columbia Falls, 15 miles from the West Glacier Park entrance and 15 miles from the city of Whitefish. Nearby lakes, mountains, and rivers provide ample recreation opportunities, as well as space for your dogs to run around - they are welcome for a fee.

Upon arriving at this home, note the covered outdoor area. A gas grill and patio furniture make this a great place for a barbecue . There is also an outdoor fire pit with large rocks for seating.

Enter through the French doors to find yourself in an open living area. To your left, two comfy couches face a large flatscreen satellite TV. Put your feet up and relax while you enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. (Please note that cellular service is inconsistent but Wi-Fi calling works great) Hungry? The large, open kitchen features updated stainless steel appliances, so cooking for your crew is a cinch. There is also a dishwasher, so you can spend less time cleaning up and more time enjoying the beautiful scenery. There is room for everyone at the eat-in kitchen island, as well as at the six-person dining room table.

Head upstairs to find a large family room with leather couches and armchairs, as well as a second flatscreen TV. Choose a movie from the expansive DVD library for a family movie night. The second floor is also where you will find two bedrooms, as well as the full bathroom. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed. A full-size sofabed in the downstairs living room rounds out the sleeping options. Altogether, this home can comfortably accommodate up to six guests.

Regardless of the season, western Montana boasts dozens of outdoor activities for you to enjoy. During the summer, play a few rounds at Meadow Lake Golf Course or Glacier View Golf Course, or head to Hungry Horse Reservoir and see if the fish are biting. And do not forget your hiking boots! Glacier National Park has more than 700 miles of hiking trails, perfect for everything from a short jaunt to an extended backpacking trip.
